Invercon was founded in 2003 as technology transfer mechanism between the Pennsylvania State University Aerospace Department and the U.S. Department of Defense, as well as several commercial aerospace companies. Invercon is developing advanced rotorcraft technologies such as high-frequency, periodically layered fluidic isolators for helicopter gearbox, dynamic gurney flaps, trailing edge flaps, and ultrasonic de-icing technologies for helicopter rotor blades. Invercon customers include DoD, the Center of Rotorcraft Innovation, and private aerospace companies.
Invercon specializes in solving noise and vibration control problems in today’s lightweight aerospace structures that require innovative solutions.
